Oh my, we've lost the Croz. Throughout his life, in and outside of the law, David Crosby was an iconic voice of our generation who I felt always spoke to truth. Yes, he was a cantankerous ol' koot but, my gosh, from the Byrds to CSN and finally his solo years, his songs and voice will always be with me as an integral part of my life and the soundtrack of our counterculture and celebratory generation. I'm feeling especially fortunate to have seen him twice in my lifetime.
This is my tribute painting to him from the last show I saw him at about 5 years ago.
Rest in Peace David, it's been a long time coming, it's gonna be a long time gone, but you left a legacy that will never be forgotten. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart.
